The Launch of Bahrain Diabetes Conference Today
Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health, the sixth edition of the Bahrain Diabetes Conference begins today. The event is organized by Royal Bahrain Hospital in collaboration with the Bahrain Diabetes Society, Arabian Gulf University, and the Bahrain Diabetes and Endocrinology Association. The event will also feature the participation of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (Bahrain).
Dr. Wiam Hussein emphasized that this year's conference will focus on the latest research and technological advancements in diabetes treatment. The event will host 24 sessions with participation from specialists across the Arab, European, and international communities. The conference will also include an exhibition showcasing the latest medical innovations and treatments. It aims to strengthen collaboration among Gulf countries to address the rising rates of diabetes by 2030.
