Launch of the Fourth Edition of the Bahrain Diabetes and Endocrine Conference: Introducing Modern Technologies for Diabetes Treatment
The fourth edition of the Bahrain Diabetes and Endocrine Conference has commenced under the patronage of Lieutenant General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health. The conference is focused on discussing the latest advances in the treatment of diabetes, with an emphasis on modern technological interventions. The event will also explore strategies to reduce the prevalence of diabetes and its complications in Bahrain and the Gulf region. Dr. Wiam Hussein highlighted the significance of continuous innovation in diabetes treatment and the importance of regional cooperation to achieve health goals by 2030. The conference will also address the treatment of thyroid cancer, one of the most common cancers in the Gulf, and will feature extensive participation from both local and international experts.
